The Date Says May 8

So, this must have been posted then. There's no way I could have set the post time back, unless I had a time machine! WEEEEOOOOOOO!!!!

Oh no! I killed a fly in my trip back to last Friday and now my parents are mailmen!

But, seriously, sorry for missing last Friday. I was hanging out with my sister, Soulfood, in Calgary where we had gone since the daughter and wife were playing roller derby. It was a good time and I stayed away from the track most of it to hang with my sister.

Belle ended up breaking her skates on Sunday during the last game and was super gutted. She then won a $250 gift certificate to buy new ones as she was voted tournament MVP. Talk about emotional whiplash. For her anyway. My emotions are an always simmering and uncomfortable feeling similar to love but with more farts.

Soulfood and I swung by the Calgary farmers market at one point so she could grab herself lunch and while we were waiting I was looking at the stall across from the food one. It was a dude that made metal helmets, drinking steins from bison horn and D&D dice from the horns as well. I decided I had to buy some. Then I saw the $80 price tag on the dice. So, then I decided I didn't have to buy them. Handmade stuff can be so cool though!

Well, that's all I'm going to say today to catch up, but I promise I will make an extra long post on Friday to make up for my tardiness, and not just post a single sentence to be a sarcastic asshole.

Calgary is just a more southern Edmonton. I went to the Regina Farmer's Market on Saturday. There were no helmets, no dice but plenty of unaffordable things. I bought salsa and some soda.
