Three Years of Soulessness

 ....Added on to the previous thirty four years. Yes, just as Pilot got to blog this week on the special occasion of his birthday, I get to blog on the special occasion of my third anniversary. What a fucking week. The Vlogbrothers have Pizzamas, but we have Birthaversarymas.

Might need to workshop that one.

Three years in and I think I can say my marriage has been a net positive. There has definitely been some work needed but that's just normal for a marriage and we are always progressing. And the main negatives aren't from the marriage itself. While I love Saskatoon and believe it is a superior city to Regina, my family and friends are down there. Won't be moving any time soon with a daughter and a semi-sick mother in law though. Oh well.

We've got plans to go down to Swift current coming up for some roller derby. Originally we were going to borrow the mother in law's truck and trailer but have started thinking that with the gas we'd spend we could probably just buy a tent and mattress and have it to camp next year as well. Osler had a place that sells returns from Costco and they have a tent for $100. Downside is I know it's a shitty Coleman tent and I won't be happy with it. But maybe it's just good enough. 

I would actually LOVE to have Yurt style tent but they are about $200 minimum and, as with most tents, a lot more for a decent one. But that brings up another thought. We push for trailers but maybe a really nice tent that you can walk around in and with nice canvas walls in case it rains is the way to go. 

Something for me to think about I guess. As long as the dogs can deal with the noises outside. I think Capone will be good but Sadie can be a real chicken sometimes.

Whatever we do, it will be nice to get away from work a bit and just relax. It's been tooooooooo long.
