Blogging on a Blog
I think it's become apparent from certain previous posts of mine that I find the hardest part of blogging is just finding a topic. For awhile I figured I'd do a post on how I discovered this week that Metallica's biggest hit, Enter Sandman, has the main riff written by Kirk and not James, and it blew my mind. That one sentence summed up the entire post though so I probably shouldn't. Also, Jason Newsted wrote a lot less than I imagined he would have.
I then also thought I could talk about how there was a thunderstorm three days in a row that made it difficult to see to drive when I haven't seen one of those in years. Climate change is here. But, my readers know this already. That horse is starting to rot so I better stop beating it.
Or, even better, a blog post about what a blog is and how to write one? I think this post, and any of my historical posts, proves that I am not an expert on that though and really couldn't add anything to the conversation.
Have I talked about AI yet?
I'd love to do more long form science or event type blogs but the research is just too much for me. Plus I'd probably pull most of it from YouTube and my followed channels tend to parallel the same channels as certain readers of mine. And, to go along with Pilot discovering he loves to add some comedy into his music, maybe I should lean into the complete gibberish blog posts that I sometimes make.
I still want to make updates but quite often, nothing has happened in my life. And I don't want to make a blog that is just me bitching about my life or politics or something like that.
I, like many people, have though about writing a book from time to time. With what I read it would be some sort of science fiction but, going off previous attempts, I am not a good writer. I've never got into fan fiction before but maybe I should? Write some short stories on here? A short writing is probably more manageable than a long one. And if I add shitty puns into it, at least it looks like I was intentionally making it bad and forcing my readers to consume it.
Maybe I'll have to think about it it. Gibberish writings would also be good as some pre-written blogs for days when I have nothing to say. Though they tend to come out the day of when I'm in the mood. So far I've only had one pre-made post at the ready, despite planning to make a bunch. And you read it last week.
Suppose I'll start a short story about a young boy named Luke who finds out he can use a magical power and defeat the evil emperor on the Battlestar Galactica!
