Overwhelming Excitement

It's happened. Daniella and Belle took off for Grand Prairie to visit Daniella's grandma who is visiting from merry ol' Britain. I would have gone but we unfortunately have a dog named Dash that scares any proposed babysitters off with his powerful barks and jaws and we can't afford to put the three dogs into a daycare that would take them. So, it's just me and the dogs from last night till Sunday.

"Wait a minute, Navigator!" I hear you say, "You said Wednesday, not yesterday!" I've also got Friday off and at the risk of being completely off the rails with my massive parties (in game) I decided to pre-type this blog on Thursday. The magic of the internet.

<ramble>That is the thing about the internet though, isn't it. What really is current? When I talk to someone face to face, I see it as it is at this moment. But, with the internet, even a 'live' stream has a delay. So, you can only ever see or read the past. I guess that's true for books, TV, movies and literally anything that isn't an in person conversation but SHUT UP! I'm having a deep moment!</ramble>

I have no real plans for the time alone, aside from making sure the dogs and cat don't die and getting a few groceries. I do that normally anyway so it shouldn't be too hard to keep it up (That's what she said!). Probably play a lot of video games, as implied above, but I also want to move around a little bit so I don't get bed sores on my tush. Maybe putz around in the garage and clean it up a bit. Get rid of some garbage or something.

I've got a few projects I would like to work on but who knows if and when I'll ever get around to them. For instance, I'd like to make a wooden DM screen for D&D but my tools make it super difficult. Maybe that's something I can do, finish "restoring" the hand planner THE PILOT gave me. It's all together, I just need to sharpen it real good and look up how to properly set it. If I could pl....plane? plain? plaen? Stuff then that would make life easier. Or make me realize that's bullshit and go find an electric pl---planer? planner? pleaner? plaener?

You really have to be more careful on wood choice without a proper...wood scraper? scrapper? Fuck this. I'm outta here.
