I know what you're thinking. "Hey, blog writer! That's an awful decent picture of yourself you got there on your profile."
I'll tell you a secret though. That's not me. I know...not surprising with all the Artistical Intellivision and and derpfates around. I wanted to make a cartoon avatar based on myself and I figured I'd try some AI software and decided to try all the different artistic styles. None of the pictures I took were at that angle yet it still got my unshaven mug right.
AI is all the rage to talk about today. So much so that you are already saying "Hey, shit goblin! You already did a post about AI!"
Fair enough. But, what else are we supposed to talk about these days? It's all so politically charged.
Wait. Politics? Charge? Shit Goblins? I know what to write about!
Cooking recipes!
So I got this one app on my phone, called Supercook, that you just keep a tally of what you have in your cupboard and it will suggest recipes for you. It draws them from all over the web too so it's got a massive collection to draw from. I've tried a few new recipes from it, to add some mix into suppers. It's especially handy when you are running low on stuff. It will also suggest a few recipes and say "Hey, you're just missing this"
I wish it would suggest more things to keep in your pantry as staples. I have pasta and rice and what not but maybe there is something else that would open up a billion recipes on there. As it is I'm already cooking new stuff I've never cooked before. Made a Creole spice the other day. It was a little much so I think using less in the recipe is a must for next time. I also cook Quinoa yesterday for the first time ever. I've always liked it but never cooked it.
I've become the main cook in the house though I'm not the biggest cooking fan. I've found I end up cooking the same things each week so I need something to mix it up a bit, and I don't mean my blender. Though that is helpful.
So I give the Supercook app an 8 out of 10. And if you have a teenager or something like (Who that reads this would have one of those?) that who needs ideas for what to cook, it is a good place to point them.

Little known fact, I actually ventured back into the blog space last year with a new blog called "An Orange Kitchen" (https://anorangekitchen.blogspot.com/). The kids have bugged me for years to write a cookbook so this is my quarter-assed attempt at putting something together.
