Electrical Boogaloo

Well, I'm back to my once every couple year foray into Arduino's again. The last couple times I've tried to make a thermometer for my desk at work but have usually failed due to the fact that the coding for the Adafruit Arduino Trinket is ever so slightly different than the basic Arduino Uno. Sure, I could just use the Uno, but it is about ten times the size and that's too big.

The bright side is that this time I have ChatGPT to help me. I've used it to create some AutoLISP code for use at work and, while it doesn't always work flawlessly, it's usually pretty good. I figure that will help me do a lot of the trouble shooting and get this done. Or I'll just give up and come back to it in two years once I've forgotten everything I've done.

It's a little tough to do stuff like this as I have inadvertently trained Capone to ALWAYS need my attention. He either needs to be playing with me or lying on me. And if he's not doing either and I attempt to do something else, he suddenly wants to do one of those.

I guess there are worse problems to have than a ball of slobber coming for ya though, that big lug.

I tried putting him into AI once. Yeah, that was a terrifying picture. ChatGPT and other AI generators are very powerful but they still have a ways to go. But they'll get there quick. They'll probably steal my job eventually. As much as it sucks to loose a job, technology has been taking jobs since farming became a thing. Even Cain would have outsourced his brother murder to the Terminator if he could.

Terminator? or terminator? He's 'a' terminator but is it also his name and therefore capitalized?

Solid blog post, Andrew. Quality from start to finish.
