This Blog Stops At All Uncontrolled Intersections
And keeps going if it's controlled. Fuck that red light. I didn't plan anything for this post so it should fit the randomization theme quite well.
Capone went to the vet for his yearly check up last week. Apparently they all loved his face and he's five pounds overweight. Doing better than me. Also explains how he figured that going on the scale means treats. We also got some stuff for his foot fungus that's crept up again. It's so bad that he doesn't put his foot down after going to the park since the skin is so raw. Been working on fixing it for awhile but now we have the big guns. He really is the expensive dog. Sadie went two weeks before and is perfect. No surprise.
Took them both to the chief whitecap beach. Neither of them swim much, though I know Capone can, but they do love running in the water. And barking at others in Sadie's case. And yelling at Sadie to be quite in Daniella's case.
Didn't do anything else for the long weekend other than that. Just relaxed. I haven't had a good vacation in a long while so it was nice. We have a week off at the end of August but we are heading to Alberta to visit Daniella's family since her Grandma is in country.
Speaking of grandparents, I'm also planning on heading to Regina tomorrow to visit Grandpa, if he's still there. Sounds like he might be back in Avonlea in which case, that's where I'm headed. Probably just do a quick visit and turn-around.
Been looking at more education lately. I have to do it cheap since I'm poor. And as a white, middle-aged male I am not open to scholarships or anything. It's like the world is against m---OW! Someone just bit me! I've been slowly working my way through the Google Project Management course. I don't want to do that too much but I figure it's cheap and will help me in my work. Another I'd like to do is some sort of technical writing course.
I know my main reader is an English GOD so I will never get to his level, but improving writing will always be a good skill for any career. And I do think I'm largely above avrag in me splling 'n gramma. Just don't read some of my old blog posts. Even now isn't the best butt eye right these as I speak, not as a correct English document. When I try I can be better.
That would be the dream job though. Writing scripts and doing research for some YouTuber or something. Just spend all day learning things and reading scientific papers. I'm sure some of that gets boring but the amount of stuff learned would be worth it. Maybe I'll see if the guys over at Dude Perfect need a researcher for their trick shots.
