Point for Andrew...Minus 1 Point for Computers!

Well. I haven't posted lately because last Thursday the hard drive on my computer decided to crash on me. Luckily I have a backup one with all my important files on it but it's not big enough to be my primary so I had to wait. Finally got the new one working. I also had to buy a new copy of WIndows seeing as all my copies were just recovery disks. 250 bucks later and I have a new 80 gig hard drive and a new Windows disk. Now I just have to reinstall everything and get all my bookmarks back. I'm gonna try and recovery them from my old hardrive but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

Anywho, Christmas was good for me this year, the highlights being Tool: Salival, Clone High, a Opeth t-shirt and a Compression Sustainer. Sweet stuff. Well, that was the highlights of the presents anyway. IT was really good to see my relatives, some of which I haven't seen in ages or may not see very much of in the future. And I found that younger cousins can answer Disney questions way better than me.

Went up to Regina with Jeremy and Shanna today to do some shopping as we all got 75 bucks of gift certificates from our grandparents. I got Trivium and Stone SOur albums. I hadn't really heard much of thiers so they are kinda risks. I also got Ong Bak and Sin City for movies and a trip into the Science Center. We went with Rhonda and Tai. Rhonda...keep an eye on Tai, she's crazy. And sorry for stirring her up so much before we left. he he he.

Tootles.

Weekend

Well, it's almost christmas and I finally started, and finished, my christmas shopping on Saturday. The two people that I knew what I was getting for I had the most trouble getting presents for. oh well, It's done. You know, I love Christmas but I hate the time before Christmas. Having to shop and all that. What the hell do you get people??

Went to Dave's Nerd Party '06 on Sunday. It featured the show Firefly. A Sci-fi mixed with westerns. Good show. Ended up being named Nerd King. I answered some questions right and then beat Jon in Guitar Hero 2. So I got a Burger King crown and a Jayne figure in an elegant ceremony. Many embarassing pictures were taken then we moved on. Didn't get home till 3:30 so needless to say I was a little tired the next morning.

Anyway, part of the party also included the Firefly movie Serenity. SO, here goes.

Serenity - The crew of the Firefly class ship, Serenity, try and figure out what to do with one of thier crew members who was trained and brain tampered by the alliance. Secrets are found and revealed and two of the best characters are killed off. I figured either no one should of died or everyone should have. It wouldn't have changed the story either way. And they died in really shitty ways. Also they kinda changed it from what the tv show had said was happening. Not the best but a decent movie. I give her 7.5 reavers out of 10.

Weekend

Had a pretty good weekend this weekend..weekend....weekend, weekend. Weekend. Anywho. Went up to Regina Saturday night and hung out with Jon, Vic and Jason. Played some Guitar Hero and Watched a movie called The Fountain(review later). Then on Sunday I headed over to Avonlea with my mon and say my grandparents in a choir and got a good freakin' meal. GOod times were had and me and Blair made some shots in pool we never thought possible in our hands. Also, I got killed by a one nostriled raving lunatic with a flock of seagulls haircut..but that's a different story entirely.

The Fountain - Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weis star in a wierd movie all about trying to acheive immortality. THree stories go throughout the movie all of them with the same main characters and the same basic storyline but different. Kinda shows that no matter who or where you are, immortality is the same. I give it 9.5 crazy shamans out of 10.

Baby, It's Been Awhile.

IT's been a little bit since my last post so I thought I'd get on here. Had a long week and didn't feel like posting after work. All of our equipment from batteries to cords was breaking and the weather wasn't making it nice at all. We had to lay three wells in the last three days of work and we laid them and then had to move them because they didn't like them and basically the job was the job from hell. My legs are killing me from walking through waistdeep snow all week. But I got through it and we got the job done.

Not to much happening. Starting to settle into the new house. Bootsy really enjoys it.

Gonna head up to Regina tonite to hang out with Jonny boy and whoever else I may see.

Ok, question for y'all. I've asked a few people this.

OK, in zombie movies one of the reasons for zombies coming is that when hell is full, the dead walk the earth. What if for some reason everyone was suddenly nice and heaven filled up...would zombies that help old ladies across the street appear? OR as Jon says, is Heaven perfect and can't fill up?? Let's hear it people.
