Ideas

Ok, so here's the deal. I have actually been wanting to post again for the past two days but I have nothing to post about, what I want you to do is to give me some ideas. I'm not saying I will use them all or use them right away but I need Ideas......actually while typing this I came up with an idea for a one line post which I will add to the end of this.

War and Why We're Here

The latest cd by A Perfect Circle, eMOTIVe, is about war, more specifically going against war. It has got me thinking about this whole war thing. I sit and wonder, what if, as John Lennon says, there was no heaven, no beliefs to fight for, would this world be a better place? We would not have religion to fight over but we wouldn't have a belief structure that tells us what's right or wrong unless we made it ourselves. What if we did not believe in Heaven, maybe we would make the best of what we have. With the beliefs we have, we think "Who cares what we do now, as long as we go to heaven in the end, we'll be fine." If there was no heaven we would either be more peaceful, trying to make as many people as happy as possible and yourself happy to make life as valuable as possible, or we would go on rampages and kill people, with the no consequence of burning in hell for the rest of our lives, who would care. In the end it wouldn't make a difference. And who's to say there isn't a heaven, we don't know for sure but I can say this, I would hope there is so that I can go there instead of nothingness for the rest of eternity.

And what would happen if we all had the same beliefs and all believed in the same god, or even knew he exsisted? Well, let's just say there would be a lot less deaths and the planet would be far overcrowded. However since we would all be working together we would probably be sending humans outside of our solar system already and have outposts on Pluto or Uranus.....Yes, your ass is that big.

It makes you think....why are we here.....are we just some cosmic joke here for the pleasure of a greater being or are we just an accident. i guess we really won't ever know....although we don't know that we will never find out....Hey, maybe someday technology will let us find out or mayber the greater being, whoever he, she or they might be, might come and make themselves known. All I know is that I hope we ain't a cosmic joke.

Movies

Man...I've seen alot of movies that I haven't seen before in the last few weeks.

First I saw Constantine: Good movie, nice story line and cool effects. good acting. Cansantine is an Exorcist that is going to hell because he commited suicide but came back alive. He is trying to exorcise many demons back to hell so he can get in heaven so hell really hates him and wants him to torture him. he ends up making the ultimate sacrifice and clears his name. and there is alot more plot to add on but if you want to find out you'll have to watch the movie.
I give it 8/10, still a few problems

Then I saw Ray: all about Ray Charles Robertson. Good fuckin' movie. Jamie Foxx plays him well, really looks like him except that one time when he takes his glasses of.
I give 9/10, it jumped around alot and was hard to follow at times because of it.

I bought This is Spinal Tap and watched it for the first time.....11/10.......if you haven't seen the movie you probably won't get the eleven unless someone has told you about it which is more than likely. The deleted scenes portion is just as long, if not longer than the movie itself and almost as funny. I haven't watched everything on it yet.

There....I posted again....Happy birthday.
