Search

So I was at search all weekend, doing the backup thing. Man am I tired and sore. We were at St. Peters church up in Regina(don't ask me exactly where the church is, I don't know) Us guys got one hour of sleep the first day and four the next. Plus we were running around without shoes and there is no carpet so my feet are sore. I washed dishes for 1 1/2 hours. My hands were still white 15 minutes later. All in all though it was alot of fun. A good time was had by all. Rock over Poland! Oh ya and Dallas broke a window at the last search so this time he decided to put a hole in the wall.

Weather

What the hell is with the weather lately. It keeps going from warm to cold and back again..It even snowed last night. I shouldn't be able to shovel with a T-shirt on and then come out the next day in as many layers as I can find....I mean make up your freakin' mind. It's those damn groundhogs you know, two stayed up and two went back down. The weather has decided to go with all of them.....damn animals.

Stuff

So I wiped the hard drive of my computer on thursday and I'm not sure how to rehook the wireless internet thingy so I have been without Internet for the weekend, that's why I haven't been updating this thing. Anywa, today I am going to rate some movies I have seen in the past few days.

1: The Last Samuri: This one is a good movie about a american soldier in the 1870's that is taken over to Japan to teach them how to fight against the samuri but ends up getting captured and then joining them. A good movie everyone should see at least once. I give it a 8/10.

2: House of 1000 Corpses: Ok. I'm still not sure exactly what was happening in this movie but basically some kids get kidnapped by some freaks and end up having weird experiments done on them. A very well done movie but the script was horrible, half the time I had no idea what was going on. I say 5/10.

3: Shaun of the Dead: Fucking hilarious. A good movie for anyone, even people who didn't like Dawn of the Dead. Som guys try to run away from zombies but they aren't exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer. 9/10.

4: Day of the Dead: A good zombie movie. Bub the zombie, with his ability to learn and use weapons is an A+. I give it an 8/10

5: Iron Monkey: Wasn't paying to much attention to this one, really good cheesy wire fighting scenes. 6/10

Short Games

Ok I screwed up the first time I wrote this so this is going to be alot shorter than I planned since I already typed it. I hate short games. I spent 50 dollars on Silent Hill 3 and beat it in 9 hours. And it wasn't even that great of a game. I spent 50 on Vice CIty and Beat it after a few months but still have not 100% it. 20 bucks on FFX, beat it after 80 hours and now have over 130 hours logged on with no 100%. Why should I have to spend the sam eamount of money on a game that gives me a few days of entertainment when another gives me a few years. If I was the head of the company games would be sold by how long they take to beat, up to a maximum price or a game sold would have to be more than 70 hours or something like that. 9 hours just doesn't cut it.

Drummers

Ok...so me Steve and Jon kinda want to start a band but there is a serious lack of drummers in weyburn. Mike is about the only good one and he's taken. And I know there are a lot of people who agree with me on this one.
